We first used templates and filled it in about ourselves. Then we switched our templates with our buddy and started typing about them using the notes. It was hard putting the notes in sentences. Next I would like to write more biographies.

I am learning fractions. I found it hard in the beginning but when the teacher explained I found it easier. Problem 2 was a bit more hard but it was more easier. Next I would like to learn how to convert fractions to percentages.

I was learning to mix primary colours and use black and white to tint and shade. I also learnt to make templates of Kiwiana and use these to make an abstract picture. I found it easy to draw up the lines.I found it tricky to paint inside the lines and change the shade. I am proud of my abstract painting.

I learnt how to write a Did You Ever Poem. I found it tricky to think of an ending. But it was easy to write the 4th, 5th and 6th line. Next I would like to write other kinds of writing.

I am learning to find differences and similarities between Robinson Cruesoe and Kensuke's Kingdom. I found it hard to find differences but found it easy to find similarities. Next I would like to choose two other books and compare them.

In term 1 I got better and reached 100 because I practiced my basic facts. I need to work on getting faster changing the unknown and to reach 3:00.

Term 2 Reflection

I have been getting better in my basic facts. This is because at home I'm practising. I need to work on my time and trying to keep on getting 100% this term. My goal is to reach 3:20.

This term I've been getting 99%. So I'm going to practice more basic facts at home and try getting 100%. I'm still aiming for 3:20.

I think I did well finding the numbers which don't hit hundreds. But it was still a bit hard. I noticed that all the numbers which don't hit hundreds are all odd. Some even numbers don't work too. We used a calculator to help us. Next I will try doing harder questions.
